Michael Aston is a composer, producer & multi-instrumentalist. Possessing a versatile skill set, he balances an intensive writing schedule for Sony, BMG, Universal & independent clients.
His diverse portfolio ranges from Pop to Classical, Choral to Electronic, Jazz to Folk. An Oxford University music graduate, & MA postgrad in Music Composition (RCS), he wrote orchestral music for The Commonwealth Games and won the highly-acclaimed Amina Lucchesi Memorial Prize for violin.
Michael’s debut album KNIGHTSTOWN released on FatCat Records in 2018, replete with lush ambient pop and haunting falsetto vocals. The album featured on BBC Radio 1 and was championed at BBC 6Music. Today Michael writes for clients including: EMI, BMG, KPM, Juice Music, Altitude and The Firm. Michael’s music has featured on BBC, Netflix, ITV, Channel 4, Freeform, Amazon and many more.
